The Next Generation Convergence Technology Research Institute (President Kim Jae-young, hereinafter referred to as Jung Ki-won) announced that the Gyeonggi Digital Social Innovation Center will hold the ‘2022 Gyeonggi Province Social Problem Solving Ideas Hackathon’ to discover various ideas from local residents to solve social problems in Gyeonggi province.
Through this hackathon, Jung Ki-won plans to run a digital social innovation project called ‘The Game We Change’ for about four months to select creative and effective ideas and support prototype development for 15 teams.
The recruitment period for the ‘2022 Gyeonggi Province Social Problem Solving Ideas Hackathon’ is until May 10 (Tuesday), and the contest will be held for two days from the 21st to the 22nd. The final excellent team will be awarded with a certificate in the name of Yonggi Won, and will be recommended as a policy project in Gyeonggi province.
Recruitment targets are students of specialized high schools and Meister high schools in Gyeonggi province who are interested in solving community problems. Form a team of 2 to 4 people and submit an application form.
In particular, all programs provided through the project, such as team activities, various expert training, mentoring, and special lectures, will be held on the newly built ‘Gyeonggi Province Digital Social Innovation Center Metaverse Platform’.
