Changwon National University (President Ho-young Lee) announced on the 6th that Professor Chun-Man Lee of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mechatronics College was awarded the ‘Minister of Science and Technology Information and Communication Commendation’

Changwon National University (President Ho-young Lee) announced on the 6th that Professor Chun-Man Lee of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mechatronics University has awarded the ‘Minister of Science and Technology Information and Communication Commendation’.

The Ministry of Science and ICT explained that Professor Chun-Man Lee of Changwon National University Department of Mechanical Engineering was awarded the 'Minister of Science, Technology and Information and Communication Commendation' in recognition of his contribution to protecting the rights and interests of researchers.

Professor Choon-Man Lee served as the sub-chairman of the Researcher Rights and Interests Protection Committee and was awarded the Minister of Science, Technology and Information and Communication's commendation for contributing to the protection of researchers' rights and interests and securing research ethics, and for contributing to academic development through academic research.

In addition, since 2004, Professor Chun-Man Lee has served as the head of the cluster project group, leading the support of local companies, R&D, and practical application of the results. In 2013, the International Machine Tool Certification Center (KOLAS) was invited to support companies such as measurement and calibration, and 32 technologies were transferred to 23 companies including EM Korea, earning 320 million won in royalties.

In 2016, he served as president of the Korean Society of Precision Engineering and contributed to academia, and is currently a member of the Korean Academy of Engineering.
