This project was planned based on the situation that Suwon City is the only city with a high court and a public prosecutor's office among the basic local governments in the country, and there is a lot of demand for law clerks. The program consists of contents that lead to cooperation between Suwon City and Ajou University Law School, professional job training, mentoring, and employment in order to nurture field-oriented manpower necessary for law offices.

The target of the education is unemployed women living in Suwon City, and the goal is to strengthen trainees' employability through a one-on-one mentoring program and to promote employment by enhancing trainees' ability to adapt to the job through a job-related program. The recruitment period is until May 20, and a total of 30 trainees are recruited.

The program will be conducted in a face-to-face and non-face-to-face format from June 8 to December, with successful applicants announced on May 31 after document evaluation and face-to-face evaluation. After completing ‘Job Professional Training for Legal Clerks’ (three months), ‘Law Professionals and Trainees 1:1 Coaching’ (one month) and ‘Law Office/Company Legal Team Employment Support’ ( three months) follow.

The instructors are made up of the best legal experts, including professors at Ajou University Law School, lawyers, and general managers of law offices. After the training course, the Gyeonggi Central District Attorney's Association, the Gyeonggi Central District Attorney's Association, and the Ajou University Law School Network (concluded agreements with 183 law-related employment agencies) are used to support employment. Graduates are supported to find employment in law offices and corporate legal teams, and trainees with an attendance rate of 90% or higher are paid a participation allowance.

A person in charge of Ajou University’s Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation said, “We discovered the demand in the field where there was a shortage of legal clerks and planned the project in cooperation with Suwon City and Ajou University. It is expected that participation in the labor market of the vulnerable groups (young people and career-interrupted women) will increase.”

He said, "Through this project, we will spread best practices for successful employment of law clerks and build a sustainable community development model by developing various manpower nurturing programs utilizing university infrastructure and networks.“
