As part of the university innovation support project, it was announced on the 11th that the ‘2022 Changwon National University Core Competency Briefing’ will be held to raise awareness of core competencies and non-specialty education-related systems.

Changwon National University (President Ho-young Lee) announced on the 11th that as part of the university innovation support project, the ‘2022 Changwon National University Core Competency Briefing’ will be held to raise awareness of core competencies and non-specialty education-related systems.

This event, hosted by the Creative Convergence Education Center of Changwon National University Education Innovation Headquarters, will be held at a student briefing session for each college under the theme of 'Competence Check-in (feat. Non-Department)' to induce self-directed student competency development. You can participate after pre-registration through Changwon National University non-departmental integrated management system (Ireo Dream).

This briefing session will provide practical help to students, such as the introduction of the core competency certification system, which will be newly established for the management of students’ core competency performance, ▲the introduction of the non-curriculum certification system, and the information on how to use the Iluo Dream system ▲the presentation of cases of top talents who are excellent scholarship students participating in the non-curricular departments. It consists of a variety of things that can be done.

The students who participated in the briefing said, “I heard the explanations about the extracurricular education-related system when I entered the school, but after I got used to college life to a certain extent, it was easy to understand and I was motivated to participate in the extracurricular program more.” 

Lim Hyung-cheol, head of Changwon National University Education Innovation Division, emphasized, "We will provide opportunities for student competency development through the operation of systematic education programs based on core competencies, and will continue to make continuous efforts to nurture local talents required by the future society."
